What is Feldenkrais?
The Feldenkrais Method® brings together both the science and the art of human movement. Its focus is on learning through developing awareness. There are two aspects of Feldenkrais, Group Classes, called Awareness Through Movement and individual hands-on lessons which are called Functional Integration.
“What I’m after isn’t flexible bodies, but flexible brains. What I’m after is to restore each person to their human dignity.”
–Moshe Feldenkrais

“Feldenkrais with Neruma during lockdown brought a sense of ease during and after class, which was a joy and a blessing at the time. She provided a space where slowing down wasn’t just allowed but highly encouraged, and I was able to let my body follow its own rhythm without any kind of outside pressure which is often a challenge when I compare myself to others in a room. Feeling accepted was the foundation for a very comfortable learning experience"

Giacomo and Craig
“We had the privilege of experiencing Neruma’s skilled and wise Feldenkrais teaching as a couple. The subtle movements in Neruma’s sequences magically translate into easeful and pleasurable movements in everyday life. From running to cycling to reaching for things in high cupboards, we both felt the difference after just one session. As we moved through the series of sessions our weekly zoom appointments became a joyful moment to look forward to.”
